| A Beautiful Day in Bayview 11/14/09 |

We gathered in Bayview, and first visited the BYO Studio, where we had a chance to make some tie-dyed shirts with a message of hope. After a romp in the leaves, it's off to Bella's Cafe on KK Ave., where we not only had lunch, but learned about food preparation, and Custard!. Our thanks to Milwaukee Fire Dep't Company 6, and Captain Mike, who showed us his firehouse, equipment and Ladder Truck. He reminded us of fire safety tips, and encouraged the kids to stay in school, get good grades, and think about the Fire Academy. Lastly, we enjooyed a visit to Sweet Water Organics, to see how food is grown, and fish are raised in a natural environment. Thanks to all for making it a good time!
